I had SO much fun working with the de Jong family again, and we had a wonderful time capturing some Christmas family photos at their beautiful home! One of my favorite parts of doing family photos is capturing a sibling photo of the kids as well as individual headshots of each child. As most of you know, siblings are different and each child has their own unique personality! Some kids are more agreeable, some are more reserved, and some are super silly! I also had fun capturing candid moments of the kids playing with their favorite toys (trains!) in their playroom. See more fun and silly moments by scrolling down!

Capturing photos at home is one of my favorite places to photograph! Not only is it familiar, comfortable, and relaxing for kids and parents, but incredibly meaningful. I had the honor of documenting fall portraits for the Ghia family, and we had SO much fun photographing around their beautiful home! It was also a very special session because we included their sweet grandmother, Nani, which is the term used to call the maternal grandmother in Hindi.

There were so many sweet and fun moments during the shoot. One of my favorite moments was when the youngest child was giving high-fives to everyone! Another was when I had the kids hug their grandmother, and the laughter and joy in the photo was priceless. My very favorite was at the end of our shoot when I had everyone holding hands and walking, and swinging the youngest child! His face was just pure JOY, and I loved how his siblings were cheering him on! :) See more highlights from this amazing family session below!

It was truly a JOY to capture photos for the Richardson family this fall! They are truly one of the sweetest and kindest families I know, and have so much love and joy! We had so much fun capturing photos in their neighborhood, and the fall foliage was so beautiful and vibrant. I had them engage with one another with lots of hugs, kisses, and tickles, and the genuine smiles on their faces were so precious! :) One of my favorite moments was capturing photos by the lake and seeing the older two kids giving kisses to their youngest brother—it was so sweet!
