Every season of life is worth celebrating, and wedding anniversaries are definitely something to commemorate! I recently had the honor of capturing 10th wedding anniversary photos for my dear friends, Lauren and Ryan. It was such a JOY photographing this special milestone for them! We captured their photos at the gorgeous NC Museum of Art in Raleigh, and it was a beautiful summer evening. Lauren mentioned that she wanted to capture photos of their wedding rings, and it was so fun to capture some creative shots with the warm golden sunlight behind them. She also still had her tiara from her wedding, and it was so sweet to incorporate that into the shots at the end! What a joy it was to capture this sweet family reunion! I had the honor of capturing family photos for the L family at the WRAL Azalea Gardens during Memorial Day Weekend. We started off with a fun group photo of everyone, and then captured a variety of groupings. I always love the ones with grandparents and the grandkids! :) I also enjoyed seeing how much the kids loved the flowers (especially the hydrangeas!). It truly is so special to be able to capture this sweet time with the whole family in one place. If you have any upcoming family reunions, let me know! I had such a blast capturing family photos for the C family again! :) I’ve been photographing their family for almost FIVE years, and it truly means the world to me when I see returning families year after year! It also happened to be around the same time as M and E’s 10th wedding anniversary, which is such an amazing milestone! :)

For this session, we captured photos at the beautiful Historic Yates Mill Pond Park in Raleigh. The weather was absolutely perfect that day—pleasantly warm with sunny skies. We captured some fun family shots by the wooden building, and then got some gorgeous photos by the waterfall and mill! We then had fun reading a book, playing soccer (the kids were SO athletic and talented!), and doing a lot of swinging. I also made sure we captured a few photos of mom and dad in celebration of their wedding anniversary! :) Enjoy some of my favorite highlights below!
