A Joyous Fall Family Session at Forest Hills Park | Durham Family Photographer

It was wonderful to work with the E family again! We captured some beautiful family photos at Forest Hills Park in Durham. Although the weather was very chilly that day, they energy and enthusiasm warmed us all up! :) One of my favorite moments was when all the kids were sitting on the blanket. Dad and mom were behind me doing something silly, and their laughter and smiles were SO adorable! I also loved capturing them tickling one another and walking together in the field. We ended the shoot with some fun and sweet photos at the playground! Check out my favorite moments from this joyful family session below!

Sunset Fall Minis at NC Museum of Art | Raleigh Family Photographer

I was excited to offer TWO fall minis event this year! The photos below were captured from my second event in November, and was held at the NC Museum of Art in Raleigh. The scenic backdrop was absolutely gorgeous, and this is the perfect location if you love open fields! It was truly a JOY seeing returning families, and an honor working with new families. While this blog doesn’t show all the families due to privacy reasons, enjoy scrolling through some highlights from the event!

A Beautiful Fall Family Session at NCMA | Raleigh Family Photographer

I had such a blast working with the C family this fall! Like many families, the last time they got photos was when their youngest was a newborn. They also moved to NC this year, so I felt honored to be able to capture this special season of life for them! I learned mom and dad were both in the creative industry, so we decided to incorporate some fun contemporary elements in their session. We started off with some photos by the museum, and stopped by the interactive artwork, “Mirror Labyrinth.” We then did some fun photos by the beautiful white wall of the museum, and their oldest son had some great ideas for poses! :) We then did the last half of the session in the open fields at the museum. The sunset was SO stunning and the colors were amazing! My favorite part of this whole shoot was capturing their joy, love, and connection with one another :) See my favorite moments from this beautiful and creative family session below!
