It was such an honor to capture graduation photos for Camille recently, as she finished getting her MD from Duke University! One of the things I loved about her session was how she incorporated an adorable stuffed bear, who was wearing scrubs as well as badges. It was wearing a collection of badges from her dad and her own! Her dad is a surgeon and she also plans to go into the same field. I had the honor of working with this Duke graduate this spring, and I had such a wonderful time capturing his photos! We documented his senior photos at the beautiful Duke Gardens, and then captured photos on Chapel Drive and around Duke Chapel. He had some epic jumping photos (they are always a favorite of mine!), and I also loved that he wore an awesome Duke tie with his suit! What a JOY it was to work with the S family again! It was such a special time because their family is growing and they are expecting baby #2 soon! :) We captured their family photos at Duke Gardens this year, and it was truly a BEAUTIFUL place. We reserved time during the golden hour and the light was SO lovely, and every moment we documented felt magical! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was seeing how happy he was when he was holding onto his parents’ hands and swinging—he had the BIGGEST smile! I also loved capturing the in-between moments when we would do a quick snack break. They brought Pirate’s Booty Popcorn, and that is one of MY favorite snacks! :) See more sweet and beautiful moments from this delightful fall session below!
